Integrative medicine: a holistic approach to personalised global health

Pain Treatment

At the Algos Centre we take a holistic approach to health care, combining conventional and traditional naturopathic medicine to treat the physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual aspects of a person's health. The aim is to provide a comprehensive and personalised approach to care that takes into account the individual's unique needs and circumstances. In other words, our approach to pain management is based on integrative medicine.

One of the key principles of integrative medicine is the recognition that good health is the result of a complex interaction between various physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual factors. That's why we see you as a whole person, not just a symptom, and aim to treat the underlying causes of illness rather than the symptoms themselves.

We also place great emphasis on the caregiver-patient relationship. We work closely with our patients, encouraging them to take an active part in their own care, helping them to understand their physiology, their condition, their problems and the steps they can take to regain their independence and a real quality of life.

We incorporate a wide range of therapies such as percutaneous hydrotomy, nutrition/micronutrition, phytotherapy, healthy lifestyle, exercise, hydrotherapy, cupping, Baunscheidt, certain types of therapeutic massage, as well as mind-body therapies such as meditation, breathing techniques and mindfulness. The specific therapies used depend on each individual's needs and circumstances, but the aim is always to provide a comprehensive and personalised approach to healthcare.

Our approach can also help reduce the need for prescription drugs, which can have harmful side effects and provide only temporary relief. For example, herbal remedies and dietary changes can help reduce inflammation and promote overall health, while mind-body therapies such as meditation and yoga can help reduce stress and improve emotional well-being. We always work closely with your GP or specialist to find the right path for you.

In summary, our integrative approach today is a strength for your health tomorrow, taking into account all aspects of your life and being to provide you with effective and personalised care.
